About Tessa
Her story
Smarter and faster with every race
Tessa De Hondt is a young Belgian karting driver (16) with a great passion for motorsport. She was first introduced to karting at Inkart Puurs, where she sat in a kart for the first time at a young age during a family day out.
Her real passion was born at a karting summer camp at Inkart Puurs in 2023. What started as a fun experience quickly grew into a real ambition to develop further in the world of karting.
Since 2025 Tessa has been training with DFK Racing Team, where she is making rapid progress thanks to regular training and coaching. After only a few months of intensive training (since September 2025) and hardly any race experience, she took pole position in her very first GK4 race of 2026, on 8 March in Mariembourg.

Training & development
With DFK Racing Team and Cpoint
Alongside the races, Tessa trains regularly with DFK Racing Team. Those sessions focus on racecraft, speed and consistency, the technical set-up of the kart and physical and mental preparation.
Since July 2026 Tessa has also been training at the Cpoint Kart Race School run by Casper Reinders in Uden (NL), to further sharpen her race tactics and fighting spirit in wheel-to-wheel battles.
